The Leiria native reaffirms that hearing the national anthem at the top of the podium has always been his greatest goal. He thanked his family, team and fans.
“I am proud to be Portuguese… I share this victory with everyone, with humility, and I want to continue to evolve”, he said after the Sprint Race.
In addition to the victory, he also completed two fastest laps before the checkered flag.
